We’re seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to join our growing team! Reliability, trustworthiness, and consistency in attendance are crucial for success in this role. Your Impact as a Maintenance Supervisor
In This Role, You Will
Lead Maintenance Operations: Hire, train, and supervise the maintenance team to ensure efficient facility upkeep.
Promote Safety & Compliance: Conduct and document fire control system inspections and coordinate monthly fire drills.
Oversee Preventive Maintenance: Establish and implement a preventive maintenance program to proactively address facility needs.
Ensure Equipment Efficiency: Maintain and repair facility equipment, including HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, washers, dryers, and emergency power generators.
Manage Supplies & Budget: Order and maintain an adequate stock of supplies and equipment while staying within budget constraints.
Supervise Contractors: Oversee outside contractors performing repairs or maintenance work.
Maintain Facility Standards: Ensure that all physical plant and equipment are in safe, operational condition and meet compliance regulations.
Support Training Initiatives: Provide job-specific training to department employees to uphold safety and operational standards.
Coordinate Facility Hours: Schedule department shifts in alignment with census needs and labor budgets.
What Makes You a Great Fit
We’re seeking someone who:
Has experience in facility maintenance, preferably in healthcare or long-term care settings.
Holds knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems, boiler and water systems, and other essential facility equipment.
Understands preventive maintenance principles and has experience implementing maintenance programs.
Possesses strong communication and leadership skills to train and coordinate staff effectively.
Is detail-oriented with the ability to manage a facility maintenance budget.
HVAC experience is preferred but not required.
