Position Summary

Position: Maintenance Mechanic A or B

Shift: Monday – Friday 3pm-11pm (Overtime as needed)

The Maintenance Mechanic A will be responsible for general maintenance and repair to all equipment within the facility and on the grounds. Support production by maintaining clear conveyor lines, ensuring production systems are operational and ensuring sufficient battery dependability of electrical units. Must be able to perform other duties as assigned by the Facilities Shift Lead and Facilities Service Manager. Must have knowledge in preventive maintenance procedures, troubleshooting guidelines, work request documentation, spare parts and inventory control.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write, and count accurately.
  • Ability to work from scaffolding, ladders and aerial platforms lifts up to 40 ft
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, parts breakdowns
  • Be proficient in computer usage to do research on look up part for ordering
  • Able to operate and be certified to as an operator of mobile equipment and have a Valid Driver’s License
  • Able to work in a seasonably warm or cool environment
  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools
  • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
  • Able to wear protective equipment, fall protection in accordance with company policy

The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is

$18.50 - $38.82

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
