Agave Wire is looking for a driven, dedicated Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations for our manufacturing facility in Rockwall, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, safety, and efficiency of all equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing preventative maintenance programs. This is a leadership position that requires strong problem-solving abilities and hands-on experience with industrial equipment.

WHAT we need you to do.

• Oversee all maintenance activities, including the repair, calibration, and upkeep of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and increase productivity.
• Lead and manage the maintenance team, providing training, coaching, and support to ensure high levels of performance and safety standards.
• Perform maintenance repairs to equipment when time and need arise.
• Quickly identify mechanical issues, troubleshoot equipment failures, and determine the most effective and cost-efficient repair methods.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards to create a safe working environment.
• Organize preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.
• Oversee maintenance-related budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining high standards of equipment and facility upkeep.
• Periodically, analyze spare parts inventory to ensure the right items are in stock for critical equipment.
• Work with external contractors and suppliers to acquire high-quality services and materials for maintenance projects.
• Work closely with other departments, such as production and engineering, to coordinate maintenance schedules and avoid production disruptions.
• Complete other work as assigned.
• Be flexible in work schedule should circumstances require the need.

WHAT you need to possess.

• Associate’s degree with 7 + years’ experience or Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of industrial machinery, electrical systems, PLC Logic, and mechanical systems, along with troubleshooting and repair skills.
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to enforce and maintain safety protocols within the team.
• Experience with CMMS systems and documentation.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• A self-motivated, adaptable go-getter attitude.
• Experience with team management and leadership.
• Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail to ensure proper equipment function and prevent equipment failures.
