This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a forward-thinking FMCG manufacturing business, working a permanent nights shift.
Week 1- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday- Nights
Week 2- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday.
What You Will Do
- Provide expert support to the operations team by maintaining equipment to the highest operational standards, ensuring safety and efficiency at all times.
- Monitor machinery during runtime to prevent downtime and suggest proactive maintenance programmes to optimise performance.
- Collaborate with team leaders to review production performance and identify areas for improvement that enhance productivity.
- Maintain detailed downtime logs and utilise systems like Gemba to support the engineering functions of the business.
- Ensure compliance with Quality and GMP standards while carrying out maintenance activities, minimising risks and maintaining operational excellence.
- Assist in technical risk assessments and support health and safety initiatives to ensure a safe working environment for all.
What You Will Bring
- Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance engineering role within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement practical solutions to technical challenges.
- A proactive approach to preventative maintenance and a commitment to minimising downtime.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with colleagues across all levels of the business.
- A strong understanding of health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
