Position Summary
Imperva is hiring for a Mainframe IMS Software Developer. You will be part of the z/OS Agent Team, a team of software development professionals, who are responsible for agent development on the z/OS platform, researching and developing advanced security features, and implementing them using some of the latest techniques and features in z/OS. We aim to fully protect customer's databases and critical files located on organizations servers. The z/OS Agent product is a key component in Imperva's SecureSphere line of products. As a member of the z/OS Agent Team, you will be involved with high profile projects and gain a unique perspective into Imperva products. In addition to participating in other team projects, you will be the primary developer for the IMS products and feature.
Key Areas of Responsibility
* Research, design, and code new features for the IMS products
* Create detailed designs based on research to be used in development and testing phases of project
* Diagnose product issues, design and implement corrective maintenance
* Remain active in all parts of product lifecycle and work with product management when necessary
* Work with members of team to create new best of breed security based products for z/OS
Basic Qualifications
* Min 10 years experience developing products in a multitasking environment
* Strong knowledge of HLASM (IBM High-level Assembler)
* Strong knowledge of IMS DB/TM system and internals
* Strong z/OS diagnosis and debugging skills
* Strong communication and design skills
* Experience with SRBs and 64-bit programming
* Experience with z/OS recovery environments and mechanisms
Other skill preference include,
* Knowledge of DB2 system internals is an advantage
* Experience with C is an advantage
* Knowledge of TCP/IP is an advantage
The anticipated TTC range for this role is 154,163.48 - 261,855.00 USD Annual.
