Role: Mainframe Application Development Engineer

Location: Quincy, MA (4 days Onsite)

Duration: Long Term

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Application Development Engineer with 8-10 years of relevant experience who can analyze, develop, and maintain software in a Mainframe environment using PL/1, COBOL, DB2, JCL, and CICS.

Ability to analyze and understand the existing software application in detail.

Identify the missing process in the lower BUAT environment.

Develop software programs to meet project schedules.

Good knowledge of Job scheduling.

Strong analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Take responsibility for the development deliverables.

Must have skills:

PL1 or COBOL, DB2, JCL, CICS, OPC Scheduling

Nice to have:

MQ, RDz
