Urgent Hiring: Mainframe Developer

Role Overview

We are hiring a skilled Mainframe Developer to join a high-impact team responsible for building and maintaining enterprise-grade applications. You will work across the full software development lifecycle — from design to deployment — while ensuring performance, quality, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, code, debug, and maintain mainframe-based applications
• Analyze existing systems or create new logic using flowcharts, procedures, and algorithms
• Conduct unit testing, code validation, and defect resolution for moderately complex modules
• Create technical documentation and support application implementation plans
• Participate in requirement walkthroughs and contribute valuable input
• Ensure adherence to application and data security standards including PCI compliance
• Assist junior developers and provide technical mentorship
• Provide on-call support and collaborate with Mainframe Ops and cross-functional teams

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of hands-on experience in Mainframe development, including strong proficiency in JCL, DB2, and COBOL. Additionally, working knowledge of either IMS DB or CICS is required.

🎓 Preferred Qualifications

• B.E/B.Tech/MCA or equivalent degree
• Strong hands-on with IBM Mainframe ecosystem (VSAM, TSO/ISPF, File Manager, CA7/11, Endevor, Debug Tool)
• Good understanding of Agile and SDLC methodologies
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience handling abends, incident tickets, and root cause coordination
