Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Magento Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in building and customising eCommerce websites using Magento, with hands-on experience in developing custom modules, themes, and third-party integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customise, and maintain Magento-based eCommerce websites.
• Create custom Magento modules and themes as per project requirements.
• Optimise site performance, speed, and scalability.
• Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways.
• Work closely with designers and other developers to ensure seamless user experience and cross-functional collaboration.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across staging and production environments.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best practices.
• Keep up to date with the latest Magento and web development trends and security updates.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams as needed.

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of experience with Magento development (Frontend & Backend).
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
• Familiarity with Magento architecture, ORM, MVC, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Understanding of Magento security best practices, performance optimisation, and caching strategies.
• Experience with Composer, Magento CLI, and deployment tools.
• Knowledge of eCommerce workflows, shopping cart functionality, and SEO best practices.
