Job Description: Associated Spring US LLC is seeking a skilled Machine Toolmaker – Machinist (Maintenance) to join our team in Corry, PA. This role involves constructing, modifying, and repairing specialized plant equipment, including tool room machines, punch presses, rolling mills, and testing machines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining, troubleshooting, and toolmaking. Core Responsibilities: Plan, lay out, and construct specialized machinery and repair plant equipment. Interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine work sequences. Operate and set up machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, drill presses, and shapers. Diagnose equipment issues, determine necessary repairs, and execute fixes with minimal production downtime. Tear down, repair, and reassemble machines, replacing worn or defective parts as needed. Fabricate or modify tooling to meet unique job requirements. Perform skilled bench work such as filing, lapping, timing, assembling, and fitting mechanical components. Ensure high precision and accuracy in machining operations. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Machine Toolmaker, Machinist, or in a similar maintenance role. Strong knowledge of machine tool operations, metalworking, and troubleshooting. Ability to work from blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings. Proficiency in machining techniques and hand tools. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Education Requirements: High school diploma/GED Associate degree or technical school Graduate of a state-recognized apprenticeship in Tool Making Compensation: Starting pay is $30.06 per hour plus a COLA amount of $3.55 we also offer a tool allowance, yearly raises, and performance-based raises.
