The Role

We're searching for a skilled Machining Operations Lead with the hands-on expertise to advance our machining processes. You'll lead, optimize, and guide our team of machinists towards efficient and effective production.

• Skillful Setup: Set up 2 Axis CNC Lathes with precision, handling program loading and tooling arrangements.
• Production Workflow: Strategically allocate labor in line with production schedules and inter-departmental coordination.
• Mentor and Lead: Drive departmental success by mentoring and training machinists under safety protocols.
• Problem-Solving: Lead troubleshooting efforts to refine processes and tackle part issues with minor programming adjustments.
• Efficient Operations: Balance production demands by operating parts and machines as and when required.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality teams to uphold strict part tolerances using precision measuring tools.
• Tooling Mastery: Select and install cutting tools and fixtures ensuring optimal setup for machining tasks.
• Procedure Documentation: Keep accurate records for setups and processes to aid repeatability and enhancement.
  
  

Your Skills And Experience

• Team-oriented with a strong affinity for quality work.
• Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Independent setup capabilities for 2 Axis Turning machines.
• Familiarity with CNC Milling codes and blueprint reading skills.
• Bachelor's educational equivalence and 3-5 years in CNC setups.
