Job Description

Join Our Team as a Machine Operator!

We’re looking for a Machine Operator to join our sub-assembly line, where you’ll help shape sheet steel or aluminum into parts for air conditioners. This position is for our day shift (6:45am - 3:15pm).

Your Role: You'll report to the Sub-Assembly Line Foreman and your busy, hands-on tasks will include:

• Setting up and monitoring machines according to guidelines
• Making adjustments and recovering from breakdowns
• Performing regular TPM as required
• Selecting jobs and identifying drawings, cross-checking with programs
• Forming work queues and loading raw materials using a forklift
• Transporting finished products to the next operation using a forklift or hoist
• Measuring dimensions, angles, and rotations, making adjustments as needed
• Changing tooling and identifying correct drawings
• Understanding and complying with safety and environmental policies
• Reporting and resolving safety issues, and contributing to improved practices

Qualifications

Experience and Skills We’re Looking For:

• Machinery Operation: Experience with cutting and bending sheet steel or aluminum.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with computers and able to program machines.
• Blueprint Proficiency: Skilled at reading and understanding engineering drawings and dimensions.
• Safety First: Strong knowledge of safe work practices.
• Team Player: Reliable, with great attendance and a team-oriented attitude.
