**Job Title: Machining Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a diligent and safety-conscious Machining Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes by loading, unloading, and managing machining fixtures and operations. Your attention to detail and adherence to safety guidelines will be essential in maintaining the integrity of our products and machinery.
**Responsibilities**
+ Work safely under company safety guidelines, including PPE and equipment.
+ Load and unload products into machining fixtures and operations.
+ Protect machines and products by following procedures for part loading, machine control, and safe product transportation.
+ Perform basic operations such as edge breaking and light surface blending using various deburring tools.
+ Use cloud-based tracking system to log time to job orders.
+ Review shop routers to align with machining requirements.
+ Adhere to safety regulations and company policies, including the use of a forklift for material handling within the shop and following verbal instructions accurately.
+ Measure materials to ensure compatibility with available stock for machining.
+ Verify machine settings by measuring and upholding quality standards.
+ Perform in-process inspections to ensure quality control.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficient in machine operation.
+ Experience in general production and heat treatment processes.
+ General labor skills.
+ Certified forklift operator.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of High Bridge, New Jersey.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
