Perform all operations necessary to operate machines to perform drill, punch, deburring and cutting operations on diversified, close tolerance work.
Monitor parts dimensions using jigs, fixtures, gages, calipers, micrometers and height gages to assure conformity of parts.
Complete paperwork required to document the quality of parts completed.
Checks paperwork to determine required assembly and any special options.
Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies, per customer order
Uses precision measuring tools to check parts for correct fit and dimensions
Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2+ years of related experience in a production/shop position, preferably in aerospace environment.
Able to use basic math to add, subtract, multiply or divide and may work with fractions, decimals or percentages
One to two years of experience in a production/shop position
Able to follow simple instructions or directions
Able to communicate verbally and in writing as to work requirements, work in progress or work completion both verbally and / or in writing with other employees, team members and supervision as necessary.
Able to communicate effectively in the English language.
2nd shift, Monday-Thursday, 4:00pm-2:30am
Education Requirements
