Summary

Core Responsibilities

  • Perform all operations necessary to operate machines to perform drill, punch, deburring and cutting operations on diversified, close tolerance work.
  • Monitor parts dimensions using jigs, fixtures, gages, calipers, micrometers and height gages to assure conformity of parts.
  • Complete paperwork required to document the quality of parts completed.
  • Checks paperwork to determine required assembly and any special options.
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies, per customer order
  • Uses precision measuring tools to check parts for correct fit and dimensions
  • Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2+ years of related experience in a production/shop position, preferably in aerospace environment.
  • Able to use basic math to add, subtract, multiply or divide and may work with fractions, decimals or percentages
  • One to two years of experience in a production/shop position
  • Able to follow simple instructions or directions
  • Able to communicate verbally and in writing as to work requirements, work in progress or work completion both verbally and / or in writing with other employees, team members and supervision as necessary.
  • Able to communicate effectively in the English language.
  • 2nd shift, Monday-Thursday, 4:00pm-2:30am

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
