The Position: Machine Operator: Summary: This full-time position entails maintaining the operation of a paper bag manufacturing machine. The major aspects of the job include machine set up operation, changeover, repair and troubleshooting equipment when necessary. Position Requirements: Must be able to work independently and ensure that production quotas are met. Must understand, follow and enforce all established safety, health and quality practices as well as Company policies, procedures and processes. Must complete all quality and system checks and maintain production logs of daily output Must possess advanced DIY, mechanical and technical skills to ensure machines maximize production output. Must interact and support other operating functions that contribute to achieving desired Company objectives. Must be able to use and read a measuring tape. Must be able to use hand held Mechanical powred tools Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Position Qualifications: 1 to 2 years of Leadership experience (Teamlead,Supervisor or Manager) Minimum of 2 years experience operating a manufacturing machine Basic Mechanical experience is a must Basic computer skills to program machine to operating specifications 5 years of experience in a fast paced manufacturing facility Possess strong interpersonal skills Basic math and written communication skills ● Hours: Must be able to work night shift/ Rotating Schedules including Weekends and Overtime. The specific hours determined by management.
