Machine Learning Engineer

Location: San Francisco, California (Onsite Only)

What You’ll Work On

• Architect and optimize a high-throughput distributed engine purpose-built for AI/ML workloads.
• Build cutting-edge execution engines, schedulers, and memory management systems.
• Design cloud-native systems that integrate seamlessly with AWS, Ray, and modern data lakes.
• Collaborate with research and product teams to accelerate model training, inference, and data processing pipelines.
• Use Rust, C++, or similar systems languages to optimize performance-critical components.
• Drive key technical decisions in a fast-paced, high-autonomy startup environment.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in high-performance computing, distributed systems, or AI/ML infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Python (NumPy, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experience with systems programming in Rust, C++, or Go.
• Familiarity with distributed frameworks (Ray, Spark, Dask, or Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
• Experience building or optimizing training, inference, or data workflows.
• Hands-on experience shipping production software in a fast-moving startup or small-team environment.
