Machine Learning Engineer (Scale-Up)

About Us:

A stealth NYC startup, backed by elite VCs is revolutionising LLMS with an open-source platform that optimises models, making them smarter, faster, and cheaper through seamless inference, observability, and optimisation.

As a Founding Member of the team, you’ll:

• Develop advanced inference strategies (e.g., MCTS) and optimisation recipes (e.g., RL, APE) for cutting-edge LLM applications.
• Contribute to open-source tools, shaping public code that impacts the global AI community.
• Collaborate with a small, 100% technical NYC team to drive our ambitious vision.

What do we need to see from you?

• 5+ years of ML engineering or research experience, with deep expertise in LLMs or reinforcement learning.
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or similar, with a knack for tackling complex technical challenges.
• Passion for growth, learning new skills (e.g., Rust), and working in-person in NYC 5 days/week.
