You will be part of the Strategy & Transformation team and report directly to the Head of M&A and the local Management Team. You will work closely with both teams and various Group departments such as Finance, Operations, IT and Commercial.



SOLINA is continuing its M&A journey around the world, notably in Spain (Valencia) with Solions / Bangkok with Bowman Thailand / Sao-Paulo/Americana from an expected acquisition in Brazil. Part of the M&A’s value creation is delivered through the Integration process and synergies unlocking. You are expected to play a key role in this value creation model with responsibilities for Integration and supporting the Management with insightful business and financial analysis.



Poste et missions :


Your key mission



In an international environment, you will be responsible to support the Strategy & Transformation team and support the integration plan after acquisition (PMI), working closely with each Management Team locally.



Partnering with all departments of the company (sales/R&D/ Operations/Finance…), your mission will be to deliver the Integration processus/playbook, data analysis, financial and business analysis, propose recommendations for the management, work on the implementation good practices to optimize the performance of the newly acquired companies and ensure collaboration and connection with the group



Your responsibilities



Integration


You will be a key representative for the Group in recent acquisitions, working with both Group functions and local teams on post-merger projects, with short to mid-term/long-term on-site missions:


· Support in defining the acquisition integration plan


· Must-have Integration playbook delivery and follow-up


· Implement and ensure the follow-up of the local projects according to the integration plan (data analysis, production process improvement, pricing strategy, sales & procurement synergies, R&D plan, sales development…)


· Deliver and track integration synergies


· Complement Solina PMI (Post-Merger Integration) best practices to ease the integration of future Solina’s acquisitions


· Being the key point of contact for Solina Group locally and making bridges between Central <> Local teams and the various functions



Transformation


Being part of those teams, you will also work on transverse and global added-value projects, enjoying missions and covering different functions (cost controlling/optimization, procurement synergies, operations support, etc.):


· Support to the development of the business within the Group


· Management control: you will help the local business with reporting tools to monitor results and margins (KPIs, pricing analysis, contribution, industrial costs, customers segmentation…)


· Prepare presentation for Solina SteerCo/local Management team on various projects (business review, strategic initiatives…)



M&A


You will be part of the M&A team and would work on on-going M&A projects and prospection, you will:


· Evaluate M&A investment and strategic opportunities in the food ingredients industry


· M&A process: financial analysis and valuation, identification of the risk areas and potential synergies during the audit DD phase


· Work with external advisors (Legal, Tax, Finance, strategy, …) and coordinate the different stakeholders to ensure the process.


· Prepare market screening based on Solina M&A strategy


· Prepare presentation on investment opportunities for the Executive Team and investment committee


Education

Advanced degree in (Food/Agro) engineer, or Business Administration/Corporate finance is required. Both being a plus.


Experience

Experience in the Food Industry or food sector is a plus. First experience in project management or Financial department/Strategic consultant.


Skills and competencies

· Strong analytic / financial skills and a high attention to detail

· Curiosity, open-mindedness, and excellent interpersonal skills.

· Entrepreneurial spirit, hands-on, action oriented and flexible approach, innovative, pragmatic and solution oriented.

· Strong ability in presentations (PPT)

· Strong ability in Excel to handle and analyse large volumes of data

· Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment

· Strong interest in food industry and food products

· Knowledge in food science, food technology and food processing

· Fluent English is mandatory Thai could be a plus for Bangkok

· Travelling is essential for your job (30-50% of the time)
