Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) to join our Palo Alto office. As part of our firm's growth strategy, we are planning to expand our Bay Area presence in 2025-2026 with the opening of a San Francisco office. Job Description: As an M&A Associate, you will:
- Work closely with senior attorneys on high-stakes transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and equity deals.
- Draft, review, and negotiate M&A-related documents, such as purchase and equity agreements.
- Conduct in-depth legal research and provide strategic counsel on matters involving corporate governance, capital structure, and more.
- Take part in the due diligence process and maintain client communication throughout.
- Build and nurture relationships with clients, assisting them through the deal process.
Qualifications
- JD from a top law school.
- Admitted to practice in California.
- 3+ years of experience in M&A or related corporate transactions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
