Summary

Job Summary: The Low Voltage Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of projects involving low voltage systems such as security cameras, access control systems, alarms, and other related technologies. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and organizational skills to manage multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Specific Duties and Responsibilities Include: · Manage all aspects of low voltage projects, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. · Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables. · Oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of low voltage systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. · Qualify and develop subcontractor relationships and ensure compliance with company policies. · Supervise technicians and subcontractors, providing guidance and support to ensure quality and efficiency. · Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to mitigate risks. · Conduct site visits and inspections to verify project milestones and ensure adherence to design specifications. · Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, contracts, and change orders. · Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in low voltage systems. Qualifications/Attributes: · Minimum of two years of relevant experience · Proven experience managing low voltage projects, particularly in security cameras, access control systems, and alarms. · Strong knowledge of low voltage technologies, wiring standards, and installation practices. · Knowledge and experience with Verkada products is a plus. · Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. · Proficiency in project management tools and software. · Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. · Relevant certifications (e.g., BICSI, BTR Card, or similar) are a plus. · This role is critical in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative low voltage solutions that enhance security and operational efficiency for clients.
