Job Overview We are seeking Experienced Low Voltage & Access Control Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various low voltage systems, including security systems and computer networking. Responsibilities (but are not limited to): · Install, configure, maintain, and repair low voltage systems such as security alarms, IPVM, access control systems, and CCTV cameras · Troubleshoot issues with low voltage systems including structured cabling and fiber optics to provide timely solutions · Comprehension of client expectations and managing those expectations · Perform wiring, cabling, and equipment installations according to specifications · Test and inspect low voltage systems to ensure proper functioning · Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used Job Requirements (but are not limited to): · Proficiency in service technician duties related to low voltage systems · Experience with security system installation, configuration, and maintenance · Ability to read and interpret blueprints/instructions accurately · Knowledge of assigning IP numbers to security cameras and servers · Familiarity with computer networking for system integration · Ability to mount equipment in multiple environments · Strong understanding of electrical components including DC electrical concepts and wiring · Ability to build and configure low voltage systems based on project requirements · Knowledge of schematics and wiring diagrams for troubleshooting purposes · Experience in new construction environments · Ability to install EMT & Rigid cable pathways · Experience working in a team environment and can work well with others · Knowledge of inventory management for small and large projects · Must be willing to travel up to 100% of the time with overnight stays · Satisfactory driving record and valid drivers license with ability to pass an MVR · Ability to lift heavy equipment · Must be willing to comply with Pre-Employment drug and TB testing to work in schools and hospital settings Skill Sets (a plus but are not required): · CommScope certification · VMS Enterprise Systems knowledge for access control · BICSI certification · Conduit/Panduit knowledge · OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification If you possess the required skills and are looking to contribute your expertise in a dynamic work environment, we welcome your application.
