Based in our Support Office, in Morningside, we are seeking a Loss Prevention Operations Manager with sound Loss Prevention experience and is ready to adapt to the fast-paced retail environment that is Briscoe Group.

You will join the team supporting Briscoes, Rebel Sport, our Distribution Centre, and our Support Office functions. We work right across the country: from Invercargill in the South Island to Kerikeri in the North, from Gisborne in the East to New Plymouth in the West.

About The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Driving the reduction of company stock loss through effective communication, training and support.
  • Providing ongoing leadership and people management of the Loss Prevention team to perform at their best.
  • Building effective and collaborative relationships with the Loss Prevention team, Support Office and Store teams to achieve our business goals.
  • Assisting and/or leading Loss Prevention projects to improve performance, process and reduction in stock loss.
  • Managing the recruitment of Loss Prevention Specialists in conjunction with HR support and Loss Prevention Manager.
  • Supporting the fostering and development of an effective and positive business Loss Prevention culture.
  • Maximising security and safety of external and internal areas.
  • Leading from the front and driving team focus on the safety of themselves and their team.

About You

To enable you to be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • 8+ years' experience in Loss Prevention or a similar discipline;
  • Demonstrated coaching and influencing skills;
  • Well-developed critical thinking, analytical and investigative skills;
  • A high level of proactivity and initiative, adaptability and resilience;
  • Well-developed organisational skills including the ability to prioritise tasks and manage your time effectively

This is a busy role and travel is a frequent component: around Auckland and across the country.
