Loss Control Representative
Primary Responsibility
To conduct loss control and risk management functions in accordance with the objectives and procedures outlined in the agency procedures.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Inspect client facilities and recommend loss control measures
Provide written loss control action plans for use by self-insured clients
Assist with training or developing other resources that may be required by client
Pursue a program for personal and professional development.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 5 years of experience in the safety industry
Must be a licensed driver in compliance with the agency’s requirements regarding motor vehicle record
Preferred Qualifications
College degree in Risk Management and or safety related field
Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred
Certified Risk Manager (CRM) preferred
Experience in public entity risk services
