Loss Control Representative

Primary Responsibility

To conduct loss control and risk management functions in accordance with the objectives and procedures outlined in the agency procedures.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Inspect client facilities and recommend loss control measures
• Provide written loss control action plans for use by self-insured clients
• Assist with training or developing other resources that may be required by client
• Pursue a program for personal and professional development.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in the safety industry
• Must be a licensed driver in compliance with the agency’s requirements regarding motor vehicle record
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree in Risk Management and or safety related field
• Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred
• Certified Risk Manager (CRM) preferred
• Experience in public entity risk services
