Loss Control & Risk Management Specialist

Help public entities stay safe by evaluating risks, conducting safety training, and developing smart solutions to reduce losses.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct on-site and virtual safety evaluations
• Analyze risks and past losses to improve safety plans
• Create customized safety programs for Members
• Collaborate with Members, brokers, and agents
• Support the Director of Loss Control and tackle other tasks as needed
  
  

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree + 3 years in loss control/safety
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Valid Texas driver’s license
• Working toward certifications like ARM or CSP
  
  

Bonus Points For

• Experience with OSHA, NFPA, and other safety codes
• Background in public entity loss control (especially schools)
• Knowledge of the Texas Tort Claims Act
  
  

What To Expect

• A mix of office work and field visits
• Managing multiple projects with independence
• Light to medium lifting (up to 50 lbs)
