We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Logistics Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our distribution center in Shanghai. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end logistics process, ensuring the accurate and timely filling and shipping of customer orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and optimizing supply chain efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, inventory control, and distribution operations, along with a customer-centric approach to logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the distribution center, ensuring efficient workflow and on-time order fulfillment.
Monitor and oversee the shipping process, ensuring accuracy in shipments and supporting documentation.
Ensure that all inventory transactions are properly recorded in the system and oversee cycle counting and reconciliation activities to maintain accurate inventory levels.
Lead and mentor the logistics team, ensuring adherence to company policies and operational procedures.
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to optimize logistics solutions and address any operational challenges.
Ensure compliance with local and international regulations related to warehousing, shipping, and inventory management.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Work closely with customer service and sales teams to ensure smooth and timely supply of industrial parts to customers.
Utilize data-driven insights to analyze logistics performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements
University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain management, preferably in an industrial parts or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (ERP/WMS) and proficiency in logistics software and tools.
Hands-on experience with cycle counting, reconciliation, and order fulfillment processes.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and motivate a diverse workforce.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to optimize warehouse operations and resolve logistics issues.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with various teams.
Understanding of customs regulations, trade compliance, and transportation laws is a plus.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
