The Logistics Operations Coordinator is an important member of the Customer Service Representative (CSR) group at Samsung SDS America (SDSA). The associate is responsible for analyzing and tracking loads in transit, following up and collaborating with internal and external parties as needed, entering data into the Transportation Management System (TMS), and escalating issues to ensure they are resolved. Additionally, the associate provides support for ad-hoc requests and reports.

Responsibilities:
Download and analyze data from the Transportation Management System (TMS) daily
Track and trace loads in transit using the carrier's web tracker and emails
Generate ad-hoc reports as needed
Support the management of CSR Group Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Perform data entry tasks
Summarize issues or exceptions and document them in the TMS system
Develop a thorough understanding of internal processes for carrier education purposes
Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of logistics industry standards and best practices
Advise the Team Leader of any current issues or exceptions
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Required; Bachelor Degree Preferred
4+ years of experience as a Supply Chain Planner/ Specialist or in the logistics industry is highly preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (v-lookups and pivot tables) and Outlook
Strong, clear, and concise communication skills
Positive attitude with the ability to manage assignments independently
Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy
Strong prioritization skills, with the ability to shift focus to urgent issues without neglecting routine duties
Quick learner, able to adapt to new systems and sudden changes
Highly organized with excellent follow-up skills
Detail-oriented, able to identify urgency and know when to escalate issues for assistance
Capable of building and maintaining professional relationships with customers and carriers
