About the role

As a Logistics Officer, you will assist in safely storing and delivering items, and use systems to record stock movements and process client orders to ensure a smooth logistics operations process.

You will interact with various Novita clients for the distribution of client equipment and provide support to the Procurement Officer by reviewing purchase requisitions and placing purchase orders when required.

This is a casual role based at Hindmarsh (Manton Street), with onsite parking available. Multiple casual are positions available. Occasional work at other nearby sites may be required.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Safely preparing, packing and dispatching store stock both manually and using a forklift
• Inspecting disability equipment before delivery and after collection, as well as reporting maintenance requirements
• Interacting with clinicians, Allied Health Assistants and Novita clients for the distribution of client equipment
• Providing feedback and contributions to work instructions and procedure development
• Complying with Novita’s work health and safety systems and ensuring unsafe working conditions or practices are reported to your line manager.
  
  

Desired Skills And Experience

About you

Ideally You Will Have Some Experience With The Safe Operation Of a Warehouse And Use Of a Computerised Warehouse Management System, But We Are Willing To Provide On-the-job Training If You Can Demonstrate

• Basic computer literacy
• The ability to work meet deadlines and work productively under pressure.
• A strong commitment to customer service
• The ability to work in a team environment, use initiative and prioritise tasks.
• Alignment with Novita’s ICARE values.
  
  

A high-risk work license for forklift will be viewed favourably.

Essential Criteria

• Valid driving licence and willingness to use own vehicle for travel
• NDIS worker screening, DHS Working with Children and Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain)

Remuneration Package And Benefits

Total remuneration package includes base salary, annual leave loading and statutory superannuation contribution. Enjoy salary packaging up to $15,900 of your salary, increasing your take-home pay by approximately $5,000. Further salary-packaging benefits available include meal and entertainment expenses, accommodation and venue hire, private novated leasing and additional superannuation contributions.
