Job Overview:
Ensure all warehouse and distribution operations, including Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Control, are executed accurately, efficiently, and profitably, while adopting a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Meet customer service level expectations and manage inventory flow to support production and shipping needs, with a focus on minimizing errors, particularly in outbound shipping.
Oversee and manage all logistics and supply chain functions in alignment with production requirements. Collaborate closely with the Production Manager and Planner to maintain optimal inventory levels that support order fulfillment and financial goals. Work in tandem with teams in customer service, sales, inventory management, and financial operations to achieve company objectives.
Minimum experience required:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in warehouse or distribution center operations, inventory control, and supervision.
- Proficient in Mercury Gate, AS400, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Pivot Tables. Strong typing skills required, with 10-key experience being a plus.
- Excellent leadership abilities, including coaching, mentoring, and managing conflict effectively.
- Knowledge of trucking regulations and driver hours of service.
- Recognizes the importance of continuously improving warehouse accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency.
- Highly motivated, with the ability to inspire and bring out the best in others.
- Familiarity with 6S principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to conduct root cause analysis.
- Capable of managing the process and closure of all freight claims.
- Creative mindset and initiative to address challenges.
- Excellent people management skills, with the ability to motivate, delegate, and communicate ideas clearly.

- Must be able to read, communicate both verbally and in writing, and retain and analyze specific information, as well as understand and follow instructions or guidelines.
- Primarily an office environment, with occasional time spent in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, and crouch frequently (25% to 75% of the time).
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, crawl, kneel, and climb occasionally (25% or less).
- Ability to reach, handle, and manipulate objects continuously (75% or more).
- Ability to use fingers, wrists, and arms/shoulders repetitively (75% or more).
- Ability to use legs and feet repetitively (25% to 75%), with occasional pinching motion.
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. frequently (25% to 75%).

- Shift work:
- Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, physically on site
