Move forward as a Logistics Coordinator at DSV in Rotterdam

Be responsible for the supply of large international customers operating in the oil & gas sector. You will ensure that the daily operation keeps running 24/7 there by supplying all necessary goods. From industrial engines to time-critical products. Together with your colleagues, you work customer-oriented and provide the best logistics solutions. That is what you do!

Together with your colleagues in Rotterdam (in the office and warehouse), you ensure that all required goods are transported to the overseas (drilling) platforms. Using various transport modalities. From DSV's warehouse to the other side of the world: you work on it.

How do you do this? As a logistics coordinator, you work closely with your colleagues. You will receive details from your contact person at the customer about an order which they place with their supplier. Your colleagues in the warehouse receive the shipment, check it for quantities, damages and documentation. You then ensure that all customer orders are entered into the warehouse management system. And assist your colleagues in organising the transport. All certifications and documentation must be correct before transport. You and your colleagues work closely together to ensure the satisfaction of international key accounts. And in between, you inform the customer about the progress of other shipments. You achieve this by:

• processing customer orders in DSV's system and informing colleagues what to do;
• solving possible problems in a customer-oriented way;
• informing your customer contacts, via telephone and e-mail, about current shipments.

You bring

• at least 2 years' experience in a similar position as a customer service representative in a logistics environment;
• a good knowledge of Dutch and English to be able to speak or e-mail with customers.
