Work Schedule:

• Part-time hours (20 - 30 hours per week) to start, with the potential to move to full-time based on the company’s needs and your performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving Shipments: Oversee and manage the receipt of shipments, ensuring accuracy in quantity and condition of items.
• Shipping Out: Coordinate the packaging, labelling, and shipping of outgoing goods, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Inventory Management: Track inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and update records in the system.
• Vendor and Carrier Communication: Communicate with vendors and shipping carriers to confirm shipments, schedule pickups, and resolve any discrepancies.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of shipments, receipts, and inventory transactions.
• Problem Solving: Quickly address any shipment issues, delays, or damage to minimize disruption in the supply chain.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all shipping and receiving processes follow safety and compliance guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, or warehouse management is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient in using shipping software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with vendors, suppliers, and team members.
• Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot logistical issues.
