Logistics-Focused Client Relations Representative Company Description: Midsize intermodal trucking company with terminal established in 2000, located in Southeast Atlanta. Operations include import/export container deliveries via Atlanta railroads and Savannah port. Position Scope and Summary: Position is full-time, Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. Primary role is to process orders from pre-arrival through delivery, including tracing, client support, securing cost approvals, and scheduling delivery. Fielding client calls and emails at a steady and timely pace is required. Requirements: Two to three years industry experience with import/export container shipments, including railroad and port operations. Experience with client relations, preferably within industry. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets. Experience with various industry websites such as the railroad tracing applications and Blume Global application is preferred but can train. Ideal Candidate Qualities: Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and distracting environment. Regularly on time and shows up ready to work with no attendance issues. Ability to understand client frustrations and work for an amicable resolution with patience. Organized and able to pivot from one task to another on a regular basis. Able to complete tasks in a timely manner without constant supervision. Primary Responsibilities Receive and process new orders. Trace and schedule shipments. Update shipment systems and spreadsheets. Setup dispatch board each day. Schedule driver appointments for railroad. Notify clients of additional charges and obtain approvals. Field client questions and provide support. Secondary Responsibilities Provide clients with requested documentation. Process rate requests. Offer support on other workstations as needed/requested.
