Position Summary: The Logistics Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the seamless flow of incoming freight and materials into Catalyst Nutraceuticals. This individual will oversee the logistics operations, making sure that all incoming shipments are aligned with production schedules, and will be responsible for optimizing transportation costs. They will collaborate with various teams, including production, procurement, and inventory management, to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries. Key Responsibilities: * Inbound Freight Coordination: * Organize and manage incoming shipments to ensure materials arrive on time and in alignment with the production schedule. * Communicate with suppliers, freight carriers, and internal teams to schedule and track shipments. * Maintain visibility of all incoming deliveries and resolve any discrepancies or delays promptly. * Production Schedule Alignment: * Work closely with the production team to ensure that raw materials and components are delivered in the right quantities and at the right times to meet manufacturing deadlines. * Proactively identify potential delays or shortages and take action to resolve issues. * Cost Optimization: * Analyze freight and transportation costs, looking for opportunities to reduce expenses without compromising quality or delivery timelines. * Negotiate shipping rates with carriers and third-party logistics providers to ensure cost-effective solutions. * Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in cost savings and operational efficiency. * Documentation & Compliance: * Ensure all shipments are properly documented, including bills of lading, packing lists, COA/COC, customs forms, and other necessary paperwork per PO. * Continuous Improvement: * Continuously assess logistics processes and suggest improvements to enhance operational efficiency. * Identify bottlenecks and work proactively to implement solutions. Qualifications: * Bachelors degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred. * 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related roles * Knowledge of transportation logistics and schedule coordination. * Experience in cost analysis and cost optimization within logistics operations. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with logistics software or ERP systems is a plus. * Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
