Summary
Down to Earth is looking for Logging Plant Operators to expand their team.
Duties and tasks to be performed:
- Operating plants to transport and reposition of fell trees, logs and other material;
- Setting up and prepare the plant for operations, to organize lifting and cutting of trees and logs;
- Being able to operate specific machinery and accessory plant (chipping machines, log splitting machines…)
- Setting up constructions sites preparing and organizing machinery and plants for operations;
- Being able to manipulate plant attachments to lift, swing, move and sort trees, timber and logs;
- Feeds felled trees into processors and cut logs and trunks and load them onto stockpiles and into trucks;
- Ensuring and maintaining policy and procedure of health and safety at all times;
- Writing work reports and keep logs tallies;
- Performing a range of general duties as required and being able to perform minor services and repairs if needed.
The right candidates will have at least 2 years of experience, being committed to safe work practices, having good attitude and confidence in problem solving.
Position: Full Time / Permanent – 38 h/week
Salary: $50,000 to $70,000 per year based on skills and experience
Location: Margaret River, WA

Pay: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
