Languages are key to our mission of bringing the world closer together. The Meta family of products is currently available in 100+ languages and we are adding many more. Over 70% of people use our products in a language other than English, and ~90% are outside of North America. As a Localization Program Manager, you will partner with product and the rest of internationalization teams to empower Meta products to feel local at a global scale.3+ years of experience in localization program or project management BA/BS or equivalent work experience in localization/internationalization project or program management Experience with and thorough understanding of translation technologies: translation memories, translation management systems, machine translation, etc Experience implementing scalable change management frameworks Experience communicating across and driving results among a variety of cross-functional stakeholders, working across time zones and international offices Experience analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to inform business decisions Experiences in staying focused, prioritizing and creating structure across large, ambiguous programs and setting goals for long-term initiatives Thorough understanding of translation technologies like translation memories, machine translation, and CAT tools Knowledge of additional languages other than English Familiarity with internationalization standards such as Unicode and CLDR Exposure to SQL, analytics tools, or a coding language Knowledge of AI technologies and potential application in localization workflows Experience working with localization vendors
