We're Hiring: Loads Validation Engineer

Senvion is seeking a dynamic loads validation engineer, who is accountable for the test and validation of wind turbines focusing on loads, and system level measurements and ensuring timely analysis and reporting for certification purposes. This role is accountable for analysis measurement data and interactions with 3rd party certification agency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive Loads validation activities, interacting with Test & Validation team to ensure certification guidelines and timeline.
• Driving to mitigate gaps between measurement and simulation and bringing the lessons learnt back to new products.
• Ability to interact with instrumentation agencies and support calibrations, measurement activities
• Drive tools and process to ensure certification methodologies are followed.
• Ability to work with test and validation team to ensure latest technologies in measurement activities.
• Understanding of design influencing parameters for different wind turbine sub systems and arrive at reasons for measurement and simulation gaps.
• Understanding of IEC guidelines wrt to loads, noise and FRT testing.
• Ability to support discussions with certification agency along with Test and validation team related to loads, noise and FRT if required and solve issues.

Desired Professional Experience / Competencies:

• Must have experience in Loads testing and simulation [above 5years] with total wind experience of 10-12 years.
• Must have experience in software languages and methods and tools.
• Must have experience in test, validation, reliability and certification of power performance and IEC guidelines.
• Effective and constructive communication with employees and management
• Collaborative, team player, ability to facilitate, negotiate and coach.
• Demonstrated ability to get things done and execution focus (delivering to promises)
• Experience with design control along the full cycle, multi-functional team leadership experience and proven ability to establish a multi-functional plan.
