T. Musselman Excavating is a local growing excavating company that is looking for a dedicated individual to join our team. If you have excavating industry experience, enjoy a positive work environment, manual labour and working outdoors this position may be right for you. Ideally looking for a Loader Operator who is used to working on a production focused sewer and watermain crew. Must be comfortable with labouring in addition to operating. This position is available immediately. Salary: $28-$35/hr, dependent on experience Hours: 45-55 hours a week Benefits: Group benefits, RRSP matching, profit sharing Responsibilities Safely and efficiently operate a loader as a part of a sewer and watermain crew Occasionally provide direction to labourers and trucks on site Various labour duties on job sites Required to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions Perform daily pre and post trip inspections Fuel and grease equipment daily Comply with all company health and safety guidelines Responsible for own transportation to job sites Responsible to provide own personal protective equipment Other duties will be assigned as required Desired Skills and Experience 3-5 years of previous loader operator experience, preferably as a part of a sewer and watermain crew Previous experience in the excavating industry is a must Working knowledge and understanding of reading drawings, reading locates and setting grades Must be safety conscious Excellent team player Great communication skills Ability to work independently and follow instructions Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record Must be punctual and personable Must obtain WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety training Musselman Excavating is an equal opportunity employer.
