Summary

Cory’s is searching for a collaborative and detail-oriented Production Manager to join our dynamic LIVE team!


In this role, you’ll be the primary point of contact for our clients, building lasting relationships and leading the charge on unforgettable event experiences. From initial planning through post-production, you’ll manage multiple live events with precision and creativity, ensuring each one exceeds expectations.

As Production Manager, you’ll be the face of our events team, translating client visions into impactful realities while confidently navigating challenges along the way. Your ability to think strategically, communicate clearly, and deliver under pressure will be key to transforming ideas into extraordinary experiences for our clients and their guests.


What will you do:

  • Client & Crew Communication – Coordinate with clients, venues, technicians, and vendors to ensure all event needs are met before, during, and after production.
  • Project Management – Develop, execute, and close out detailed production plans using platforms like IntelliEvent and Q360.
  • Team Leadership – Lead production meetings and onsite crews, including stagehands and freelance professionals, ensuring alignment and efficiency.
  • Technical Knowledge – Demonstrate working knowledge across all areas of live production—audio, video, lighting, rigging, and computers.
  • Equipment & Logistics Coordination – Oversee the preparation, accuracy, and transport of gear, staffing, and rentals in collaboration with the resource manager.
  • Venue & Vendor Coordination – Liaise with venues and vendors to meet logistical and technical requirements (power, rigging, lifts, etc.).
  • Software Proficiency – Utilize Cory’s internal platforms (IE, Q360) for scheduling, inventory, accounting, and content tracking.
  • Troubleshooting – Solve challenges calmly and efficiently in high-pressure, live-event environments.
  • Post-Event Follow-Through – Lead post-mortem meetings, publish production reports, and manage wrap-up tasks and documentation.
  • Brand Representation– Uphold Cory’s brand standards and values while maintaining a professional and safe work environment.


What are We looking for: 

  • Adhere to Cory’s LIVE SOPs and maintain high data and documentation standards.
  • Operate and troubleshoot AV systems, including audio, video, lighting, and networking.
  • Lead crews and freelancers to ensure smooth, on-brand event execution.
  • Communicate clearly with clients, venues, and internal teams.
  • Manage stress, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive team environment.
  • Track inventory, logistics, and production details in software platforms like IntelliEvent and Q360.
  • Adapt quickly to changes and client needs in fast-paced live settings.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and represent Cory’s brand values.
  • Stay current with industry tech and continuously improve processes.
  • Prioritize results—meeting deadlines, quality standards, and client expectations.
