Job Description

We are looking for hands on linux oriented skill set and will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance and operation of Axiado’s network, servers, storage and Lab infrastructure. Ensures that Axiado’s network and all related equipment are functional to accommodate system users and LAB. Should be independent and able to handle local IT issues of R&D. Must be able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Candidate is required to be on-site daily.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Installs, configures, and maintains company’s infra including Laptops, Desktops, Servers, Storage and Network equipment.
• Manage and create Microsoft365 User accounts, Linux, VPN accounts and other application accounts.
• Maintain R&D LAB environment with all IT needs, Network, Linux and Windows installation.
• Support Engineering with User environment issues., on linux servers, VNC, SSH, DNS, NFS, AutoFS, NIS, IPA, CAD EDA Tools etc..
• Manage Company’s WAN, LAN, Understanding of TCP/IP protocols, DHCP, NAT, VPN, Firewall, Routing and Switches.
• Monitors internal network, updates firmware, security patches, Antivirus etc.
• Be the first level of onsite Helpdesk support for all User issues in Asia region.
• Able to Document the IT Procedures and maintain IT Inventory, Software licenses.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies, and work with other team members to implement and deploy any new IT projects.
• Experience with workload management application like Slurm/LSF, Jenkins.
• Hand on with Atlassian products – Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket.
  
  

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems or related IT specialization or requires at least 5 years of similar or related experience. Experience and professional certification may be substituted for degree requirements.
