Job Description Description SAIC is searching for a Linux Systems Administrator to join our team in Oklahoma City. This position is on site 5 days a week at the FAA office near the Oklahoma City airport. Duties: * Monitors system performance to ensure adequate resources (hardware, software and communications) are available to meet customer requirements. * Tunes system software and performs workload analysis and load balancing to optimize system efficiency. * Performs authorized maintenance of a highly specialized nature on system software. * Establishes and maintains system security. * Provides management with status of projects, problems or other outstanding project related issues. * Scanning, patching, remediating and updating software for Microsoft and Linux systems vulnerabilities. * Experience working work Information System Security Officers (ISSO) on execution of policy. * Works in a team environment, willingly and promptly provides assistance Qualifications TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; * candidate may use 8 years of experience in lieu of completed degree.
