We are seeking a Linux System Administrator with experience in DoD environments, AWS cloud infrastructure, and Linux system management. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable supporting complex cloud-based systems in a secure environment.

Location: Chantilly, VA

Salary Range: $85K to $100K

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain AWS services including EC2, S3, and Reserved Instances
• Manage and optimize Linux-based infrastructure for performance and security
• Ensure systems meet DoD compliance standards and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with Agile teams using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Rocket Chat
• Contribute to secure, scalable, and efficient infrastructure solutions

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Strong experience in Linux system administration
• Experience as a Systems Administrator or similar technical role
• Security+ CE certification (must be current before start date)
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing cost and performance in AWS environments
• Familiarity with cross-domain solutions and cloud-based architectures
• Experience with automated testing and infrastructure monitoring
• Knowledge of Engineering Review Boards (ERBs) and Change Management processes
• Exposure to additional cloud providers beyond AWS (Azure, GCP, etc.)
