What You Will Do
We are seeking an Support Engineer with knowledge of Linux, Shell Scripting, LVM, RAM, Motherboard, and CPU to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Support Engineer is to Troubleshooting and configuration of hardware issues related to Linux, ensuring proper solving hardware and software issues and functionality. The ideal candidate should have at least 3-4 years of experience as a production engineer, possess basic knowledge of operating systems, and have good communication skills while working collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities: 3-4 years of experience in Linux system administration or support.
Experience in HPC environments is a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Basic Knowledge Linux operating system + hands on experience in installation of Linux system.
- Configuration of NFS, smb, iscsi storage
- Basic knowledge of HPC architecture and components.
- Familiarity with job schedulers like SLURM, PBS, or similar.
- Understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of PFS file system (Beegfs)
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree (BE/B Tech) in Electrical, IT, or Computer Science Engineering is required.
- Alternatively, an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification in Electrical, IT, or Computer Science Engineering is also acceptable.
- 3-4 years of experience as a production engineer, preferably in hardware integration.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of RAM, Motherboard, and CPU.
- Basic knowledge of operating systems.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot hardware integration issues.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and practices in an integration environment.
