Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design, implementation and verification of complex Linux Platform components sit at the center of your responsibilities.
- Assist in defining product requirements through preliminary research and concept exploration.
- Definition and review of architectural concepts.
- Linux OS image development and deployment of software updates.
- Hardware installation and initial bring-up tests.
- Act as a bridge for platform releases between development and production.
- Platform related quality assurance including bug investigation and triaging.
- Team-oriented task execution.
Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:
- Completed degree in (technical) computer science or comparable experience.
- Expert knowledge and experience with Debian/Ubuntu Linux OS.
- Good knowledge with Linux System programming languages like Bash, Python, C/C++.
- Fair understanding of Linux hardware platforms and kernel drivers.
- Responsible and independent decision making.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English.
- Knowledge of IPC, SystemD, mkosi, DEB package management, NGINX, OS Security, Linux UEFI Secure Boot technologies constitute an advantage.
