Your journey starts now-protect and innovate with ManTech! ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Linux Engineer to join our team onsite in Norfolk, Virginia. This is an onsite position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Provide technical remote and onsite support and guidance to NCTE Range end-users, addressing IT-related issues and inquiries in a timely and professional manner * Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to system configurations and network connectivity for Range POR systems * Ability to work with Domain Name System (DNS) and * Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) and Windows/Linux environments and familiarity with Active Directory in Windows environments * Writing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for IT systems and processes * Strong understanding of Linux networking, patching, and operating systems, especially Red Hat 6,7,8 and 9, as well as Linux filesystems and Logical Volume Management (LVM) * Up to 25% travel Minimum Qualifications: * High School Diploma and 5+ years of relevant IT systems experience * Experience in systems administration, with proficiency in both Linux and Windows environments * Must have Security+ CE certification * Must have VMware, Windows, or Linux Operating System (OS) certification.
