As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be a subject matter expert in cloud infrastructure and automation, with a focus on delivering highly secure, scalable, and performant cloud solutions.
In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions, leveraging tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes to automate the provisioning and management of cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with IT and Product teams to ensure the delivery of cloud-first/cloud-native solutions that meet or exceed RTO/RPO requirements, and you will be responsible for the end-to-end target state for applications in the cloud.
The selected candidate should have extensive experience in Azure as well as a deep understanding of microservices architecture and CI/CD pipelines. You should also have experience with open technologies, DevOps and experience working in an Agile environment.

You will work closely and collaborate with Solution Architects and development leaders throughout the organization.

What You’ll Get To Do
- Work closely with IT and Product teams to ensure the delivery of cloud-first/cloud-native solutions that meet or exceed RTO/RPO requirements
- Be responsible for the end-to-end target state for applications in the cloud
- Manage and maintain various cloud apps and services, including Azure web app, Azure storage, Azure monitoring, Azure Backup, Azure key vault, and SQL managed instance
- Resolve or assist with the resolution of production issues in established ITSM constructs, including Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Operational Level of Agreement (OLA) environments
Skills And Experience
- Must be able to obtain or currently possess a U.S. security clearance, requires U.S. citizenship and residency in the United States, a clean background check, and the capability to pass initial and recurring drug screenings
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience as a Kubernetes engineer with a focus on Azure Kubernetes Service
- Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker), Kubernetes, and cloud computing (Azure)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools - Terraform (Preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in Azure
- 5+years’ experience as an SRE, System Administrator or Software Engineer
- 5+ years of hands-on with infrastructure design and deployment utilizing PaaS and IaaS cloud offerings
- 2+ years of experience with using configuration management and automation tools to provision and manage IT networks and systems, including Chef, Puppet, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation, PowerShell, and Terraform
- Thorough knowledge in Unix/Linux platforms and writing shell scripts
- Experience with at least one scripting language (Python or PowerShell preferred)
- Experience with API, automation, AI
- Experience with at least one object-oriented programing language (C# or Java preferred)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Thorough knowledge in Unix/Linux platforms and writing shell scripts
- Experience with Azure DevOps agile tools, working in an Agile environment
- Experience in resolving or assisting with the resolution of production issues in established ITSM constructs, including Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Operational Level of Agreement (OLA) preferred
- Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and load balancing
- Strong experience with infrastructure as code tools and techniques
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments and migration strategies
- Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and microservices
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2
- Experience with at least one database engine and querying language (MSSQL / TSQL and Postgres / PLSQL preferred)
- Experience with GitHub workflows and actions
