What You Bring

• Deep technical knowledge: Thorough understanding of Linux operating systems, including various distributions (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS), system architecture, and kernel internals. Knowledge of OpenShift / Kubernetes is desirable.
• Scripting proficiency: Skilled in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Perl, which they use to automate routine tasks, create custom tools, and streamline system administration.
• Problem-solving abilities: Excel at diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues related to Linux systems, hardware, and networking.
• Security expertise: Well-versed in Linux security best practices, including hardening systems, implementing firewalls, and managing user access controls.
• Infrastructure management: Experience managing Linux infrastructures, including server provisioning, configuration, and maintenance.
• Cloud proficiency: Familiar with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP and can deploy and manage Linux systems in cloud environments.
• Collaboration skills: Work effectively with other IT team members, developers, and business stakeholders to understand and meet their needs.
• Attention to detail: Meticulous in their work, ensuring that systems are configured correctly and maintained according to standards.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and proactively manage system performance to maintain reliability.
• Collaborative Deployment: Support development teams in deploying and maintaining applications efficiently.
