Based remotely and working closely with our technical teams, you will be responsible for managing, developing, maintaining, and improving the whole Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for our laboratory operations.
Your Main Responsibilities Will Be To
Partner with key functional stakeholders and IT management to provide business requirements, system requirement specifications and identify system impacts. Define goals, milestones, and deliverables of the project.
Design solutions formalizing system technical specifications to meet business requirements.
Deliver high quality, efficient, effective, and scalable solutions according to business and system requirements gathered.
Define objectives and milestones and maintain the schedule for the program including deliverables.
Measure performance and project progress as compared to initial plan and budget.
Communicate about project progress to functional and technical teams by producing project reports including achievements and areas of concerns.
Address all issues and adjust project’s priorities in line with Lab management's decisions.
Coordinate resources effectively to ensure project needs are addressed and assign tasks and deliverables to concerned team members.
Provide training to lab teams to deliver and update knowledge about LIMS system;
To Succeed In This Role, You Must Have
Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Chemistry, IT or any related technical degree.
Experience in food testing industry is preferred.
Knowledge Configuration/customization and implementation of LIMS (Lab Vantage would be a plus),
