About the Role

We are seeking a LIMS Developer to contribute to the enhancement and modernization of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). This role requires a strong foundation in Java, SQL, and related technologies, along with a willingness to adapt to new development environments. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with our international team to upgrade legacy systems, develop new functionalities, and maintain high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Upgrade older LIMS systems to the latest versions.
• Develop and enhance LIMS applications for improved functionality and performance.
• Analyze, debug, and maintain existing codebases.
• Work closely with the international team (primarily in Germany) using Microsoft Teams and DevOps tools.

Required Skills & Technologies

Technical Expertise:

• Programming & Databases: Java, SQL, SQL Server/Oracle
• Development Tools: Eclipse, Maven
• Application Servers: Wildfly, Tomcat
• Reporting Tools: Jasper Reports

Adaptability & Growth Mindset:

• Willingness to transition to the .NET ecosystem (C#) as the core product backend is built in C#.
• Eagerness to learn and work with HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript, as the core product frontend is based on these technologies.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Strong ability to work effectively with an international team using Microsoft Teams and DevOps tools.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in laboratory environments.
• Familiarity with LIMS systems and workflows.
