Objectives:
Maintain and strengthen CSLA’s reputation as a leader in lighting controls across all sectors, including architectural, entertainment, and energy management. Represent CSLA with professionalism and integrity to manufacturers, design firms, dealers, distributors, contractors, and end users. Set up systems and provide thorough training for end users on system operations. Troubleshoot and service all CSLA products efficiently and effectively. Collaborate with Project Management, Engineering, and Sales teams to resolve product issues and meet customer needs.

- Develop and sustain a strong working knowledge of all products we represent.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review project documentation and specifications to implement control schemes, including sequence of operations and the functionality of local Room controllers, Segment controllers, and BacNet/IP components.
- Commission and provide field technical support for all control systems, ensuring they function according to design specifications.
- Assist with BMS (Building Management System) integration issues as needed.
- Collaborate with integration technicians, building owners, managers, and contractors to troubleshoot lighting control issues and optimize system performance.
- Use specialized software tools and applications to implement and verify control sequences.
- Update and mark up design drawings and documentation to support owner documentation and future reference.
- Interface with Project Managers and Engineers on unresolved or pending field issues.
- Build strong relationships with regional sales staff to enhance customer satisfaction and service quality.
- Provide feedback on potential product improvements to the Engineering team.
- Leverage your computer and networking skills, including proficiency in programmable logic software systems and tools while using internet and web-based resources effectively.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Lead training sessions in both classroom and job-site settings for internal and external customers.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Must pay attention to detail and accurately document business activities.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Apply analytical skills to identify trends and recommend proactive corrective actions.
Ideal Candidate:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical plans, with knowledge of low and high voltage systems. The ability to perform power calculations is a plus.
