In This Role
Operate on a Raymond order picker in a narrow, wire-guided warehouse, ensuring safe and efficient material handling
Use RF scanners to accurately pick and verify inventory items for order fulfillment
Unload incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and verify contents against purchase orders or packing slips to ensure accuracy
Perform routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment, including forklifts and order pickers, and report any malfunctions or safety issues
Safely place inventory into racking locations using RF scanners, maintaining organization and accuracy
Follow SOPs to ensure inventory quality and stay updated on procedure changes
Perform routine checks to identify and address quality issues
Meet productivity targets while managing resources effectively
Document and report inventory discrepancies using the internal corrective action reporting (ICAR) process and ensure accurate documentation

The Ideal Person
2+ years of experience operating forklift equipment, specifically an order picker
High school diploma or GED required
Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day, and maneuver/lift up to 225 lbs with assistance
Continuously walk, stand, stoop, bend, push, and reach in a warehouse environment
Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and communication skills
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Ability to accurately identify and process items on various paperwork, including customer orders, labels, manifest documents, packing lists, stock receipts, and bills of lading
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Excel
Required to wear steel-toed boots/shoes at all times during work hours
Willing and able to work overtime as needed
