On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking a skilled LifeRay Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of portal-based web applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LifeRay DXP, a strong understanding of Java development, and a background in creating scalable, secure, and user-friendly digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customize and configure LifeRay DXP to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend developers to deliver seamless, responsive web portals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including bug fixes and performance tuning.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for clean, maintainable code.
• Stay updated on emerging LifeRay technologies and portal development trends.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE, Spring, and Hibernate frameworks.
• Experience with web technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with external systems.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud deployments (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with LifeRay headless APIs and modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular).
  
  

Top Skills Necessary

• 3+ years of experience with LifeRay DXP (7.x) development including design and develop of custom modules, themes, and portlets on the LifeRay platform.
• 3+ years of experience integrating LifeRay with third-party applications and enterprise systems utilizing REST API or LifeRay API
