Assists in communicating emergency situations outside of assigned zone Abide by grooming standards set forth by JEM and the facility Identify potential hazards and advise management of unsafe and/or unsanitary conditions Be alert to prevent accidents Follow established schedule Enforce the rules and regulations Ensure the cleanliness of the entire facility, both Front and Back of House Perform daily routine chores and maintenance of the facility to ensure a neat and orderly appearance, including the cleaning of decks and guard shack Possess a general knowledge of pools, rides, and attraction operations Greet guests and provide information about the facility for those who need assistance Assist guests in a polite and expedient manner Handle and communicate daily with guests on a one-on-one basis in a professional, courteous manner Demonstrate ability to provide care, sensitive consideration, and efficient service to guests Maintain a businesslike atmosphere in both Front of House and Back of House areas of the park Perform other duties as assigned by senior management Demonstrate good oral communication skills Completion of appropriate reports Attend regular in-service trainings as required Work nights, evenings, weekends and/or holidays Sit or stand for extended periods of time Work in a humid, warm environment and be immersed in water for extended periods of time Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs and up to 100 lbs.
